King of Rooks was an impressive 5 length winner of the Cantor Fitzgerald National Stakes Listed race at Sandown yesterday evening for owners Potensis Bloodstock Ltd, Jonathan Palmer-Brown & Partner, trainer Richard Hannon and jockey Richard Hughes. King of Rooks could now go for the Norfolk or Coventry stakes at Royal Ascot. King of Rooks was purchased by Peter & Ross Doyle Bloodstock Ltd at the Tattersalls October Yearling sales in 2014 for 67,000gns from John Troy.
