Kasimir won the Grade 1 Mercury Sprint in good style at Greyville, South Africa on Saturday for his owners W P Drew & B Kantor, Mesdames A M Doyle, D Nagle & Paul Shanahan, trainer Justin Snaith and jockey Richard Fourie. The son of Captain Al was having his seventh career win. Peter & Ross Doyle Bloodstock Ltd purchased Kasimir at the Cape Premier Yearling Sale in 2016 for R1,2-million.
