Montiridge won the Listed Heron Stakes at Sandown yesterday evening impressively by three & three quarter lengths for winning connections Clarke, Jeffries, Ambrose & Reilly. Montiridge made all under Richard Hughes and looks to have plenty of options such as the Jersey Stakes at Royal Ascot or the Prix Jean Prat. Montiridge was purchased by Peter & Ross Doyle Bloodstock Ltd at Doncaster Premier Yearling Sales in 2011 for £55,000.
