Pether’s Moon made just about every yard and drew right away in the closing stages to win the Betdaq Flootlit Listed Stakes impressively for owner John Manley, Champion trainer Richard Hannon and jockey Sean Levey. He has a good record on this surface, having now recorded two wins and a neck second to Group 3 winner Secret Number in three starts on Polytrack. He travels well and has a turn of foot and looks a nice prospect for next year. Pether’s Moon was purchased by Peter & Ross Doyle Bloodstock Ltd for €52,000 at Tattersalls Ireland September Yearling Sales in 2011.
