The second winner at Chester came with MORDRED won on debut for his owner Martin Hughes, trainer Richard Hannon and jockey P J McDonald. The son of Camelot was away well and managed to get into a good position stalking the leader. He moved up strongly on his outside and won well up to the line. Mordred also won the £25,000 Bonus from Book 1 and was purchased by Peter & Ross Doyle Bloodstock Ltd at Tattersalls October Yearlings Book 1 in 2017 from Lynn Lodge Stud for 175,000Gns.
The final winner came from NAUGHTY RASCAL in Lingfield for owners Charlie and Julia Rosier, trainer Richard Hannon and jockey Tom Marquand. The son of Kyllachy was making his debut. He took a while to get into stride and went wide around the bend but he stretched clear in the closing stages to win going away. He did that really nicely and could run in two or three weeks in a similar grade. Naughty Rascal was purchased by Peter & Ross Doyle Bloodstock Ltd at Tattersalls December Yearling Sales in 2017 from The Castlebridge Consignment for 19,000Gns.
